Refund policy

WARRANTIES, RETURNS and REFUNDS

Warranty and Return Periods

Other than for warranty against defects, returns will be accepted for 30 days, and for some products up to 60 days depending on the source of your item. Incorrectly ordered and change of mind items are currently valid for return as follows:

  • Electronic devices & accessories, and all Ausjet products - 30 days
  • Q-Image products - 60 days

If an alternative brand of an equivalent item is supplied, the return period will be the longer return period of the two brands.

If the relevant period has gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

If your product is dead-on-arrival or develops a fault, you can of course return your item after contacting us, at any time during the warranty period. This is usually 6 or 12 months, as stated in the product listing.


Non-Warranty Returns

Eligible Items

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods (if applicable) are non-returnable:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items
  • Clearance and "surplus supply" items

Please do not send your purchase back to our office address. As our products come from various sources, we will email you the correct return address. In most cases this will be the warehouse from where your item was dispatched. See "Shipping" below, for further details.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)

  • Goods with obvious signs of use.
  • Goods sold with a sealed wrapper, which has been opened. For example, most ink & toner cartridges, CD, DVD, software, video game, cassette tape, vinyl record.
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned outside of the relevant Return Period. (see above)

    Warranty and Non-Warranty Returns

    All Items 
    All goods which you return for credit must be identifiable by Order number, Invoice number, or by your name and address. We can only send refunds or replacements to the original purchaser.

    Exchanges 
    We exchange items (unless already refunded), only if they are unopened in original packaging and have never been used

    If you require an urgent exchange for an item ordered in error (for example ink or toner cartridges), please phone us or send an email to support@inkstoreplus.com.au ,  to discuss the quickest solution to your situation.

    As our products come from various sources, we will email you the correct return address. In most cases this will be the warehouse from where your item was dispatched. See Shipping below, for further details.

    Refunds 
    Once your return is received (see Shipping below) and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

    For refunds of items ordered in error, including change of mind returns, a 10% re-processing fee will normally apply.

    If approved, your refund will then be processed (including re-processing fee if applicable), and a credit automatically applied to your original method of payment, within three (3) days.

    Late or missing refunds 
    If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your Bank account and your PayPal account again. In some cases it may take some time before your refund is officially notified.
    If necessary, you can make inquiries with your Bank and/or PayPal.
    If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at support@inkstoreplus.com.au .

    Shipping
    To return your product, you should mail your product to the warehouse address which we will provide. This is because our products come from various sources. Please do not return items to our Sydney office address, unless requested.

    For your convenience, in most cases we provide a Reply Paid return address, or e-mail you a Return Label.  Otherwise, you may need to pay for your own shipping to return your item.

    For returns under Warranty, your return shipping costs are refundable, and eligible to be added to your refund total.

    For non-Warranty returns, your return shipping costs are non-refundable. If we have pre-paid your return shipping cost, we reserve the right to deduct from your refund an amount equal to the greater of our pre-paid postage costs, or the 10% re-processing fee.

    If you purchase your own return shipping, we recommend a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

    Consumer Guarantees in Australia

    Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to:

    • cancel your service contract with us, and
    • refund for the unused portion, or reimbursement for its reduced value.

    You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods.

    If a failure with the goods or a service does amount to major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done, you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to reimbursement for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.
